Highlights of Brandon’s Story
Brandon Butzberger (’23) knew was right for him from as early as ninth grade, after attending a college fair where was represented. Butzberger jumped at the opportunity to further his education while simultaneously prioritize and grow in his relationship with Jesus.
Butzberger is no stranger to adversity. At just four years old, he was diagnosed with a very rare form of childhood cancer. Though declared cancer-free after surgery and chemotherapy, only a year later he would be diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a degenerative eye disease. Ultimately, Brandon would come to lose sight in his left eye during his time at . Despite the many obstacles he has faced, Butzberger successfully graduate with a B.S. in Psychology.
“I am grateful for everyone who made U and continues to make it such an amazing atmosphere and environment to be at. All of the success I have achieved at U wouldn’t have been possible without all the donors and contributions made toward my education”, Butzberger says.
ܳٳ’s God Sized Dream is to become a clinical psychologist. He hopes his testimony and life experiences will allow him to empower people to overcome their own obstacles.
